The American English Testing and Training Manual A.E.T.T. measures how well an individual understands standard English vocabulary words. Our instruction and training manual is especially beneficial to Chinese learners with poor oral English skills, poor listeners of spoken English, and poor readers of written English. We use a unique methodology to make learning easier and lessen the frustration sometimes associated with learning another language.
Instruction Ranging from Beginner to Advanced The A.E.T.T. method includes 5 levels of difficulty with a total of 30 items on the complete test. At each level, the words increase in difficulty, beginning with Level 1, "Elementary"; Level 2, "High School"; Level 3, "College"; Level 4, "Master" or "Professional"; Level 5 "Doctoral" or "Expert".
Each of the 5 levels has what we call the Ability "Range". A=Low; B=Medium; C=High. Having a 3-level Ability "Range" allows the user to compare and distinguish individuals within each of the 5 levels. For example, you may have Composite Level 1A, 1B, and 1C or a Composite Level of 2A, 2B, and 2C. Composite Level 5C is the highest level that can be attained, when the individual achieves a perfect score.
