About this Course:
The purpose of the American English Testing & Training College Prep Video Course is to improve your “Comprehensive Listening Skills” so that you can succeed in an American College Classroom. This is a 30 day intensive instructional program that will provide each student with a rich learning experience; which will significantly improve each learner’s English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability.
Many Chinese think that they need to improve their “oral English” to be successful in American Universities. NOT TRUE! You will have very few opportunities to speak in an American college classroom. When you hear how articulate those bright young American native speakers are; you will be quite intimidated, and will not want to say too much in class.
The professors’ talk very fast and they expect you to take good notes and be able to follow their lessons. Your opportunities to speak will be when you do not understand something that the professor has said in his lecture.
The American professors do-not care about your oral English. What they care about is… Do you understand what they are saying in their lectures? So that is what “listening comprehension” is; it is the understanding what you hear spoken. The A.E.T.T. English College Prep Video Course is designed to help you to achieve your goal of success in an American college classroom.

Listening is an Art; it is an acquired skill that you will develop from the A.E.T.T. English College Prep Video Course. The A.E.T.T. program is called “English College Prep” not College English. This is Not a College English class. This program is a “Prep” or Preparatory Course that will help you to succeed in your American College English class as well as your other college classes.
The A.E.T.T. College Prep Video Course and Written Lessons were developed by Charles Bryant, Ph.D. the C.E.O. of American English Testing & Training. Dr. Charles’ career as a teacher began in 1975; he has taught every grade level from Kindergarten thru Ph.D. in China and in America. He has taught over 10,000 Chinese learners from 2002-2008.
The curriculum includes a wide range of instructional materials selected or developed by myself that is related to the areas where many Chinese need a lot of support. A strong professional development component is an integral part of this state of the art Video and Written Lessons; with the focus on college Preparation; improving job performance and passing International Tests.
